![]() ![]() Take that away and then we're competing with CS and Apex, which is basically a death sentence. I think that's the market keeping Siege alive right now. I don't think lucky headshots takes away from that too much. Other games definitely have a higher ceiling for target tracking, but 1 shot kills brings out the flick sweat. ![]() Sure, she has the full-auto pistol but no sights. So basically it seems she has 2 utility weapons, without a really strong secondary like Smoke or Mute to balance it out. ![]() And like you mentioned, 1 shot kills puts high ROF weapons at an advantage, so to me, the smg is in a bad position for gunfights. Maybe on Thorn it makes more sense or maybe it's the same situation because her smg makes those giant holes anyway. And I always hated it, don't know why haha. I like Macie's (?) idea of turning down the headshot multiplier significantly as one way of making the game less reliant on miniscule angles and pre-firing every corner.Ĭlick to shrink. Not the best, but yeah I guess as far as shotguns go it's up there, but it's always been a rare sight because the alternative weapons are so much better. PC - this is simply not a game that (imo) can effectively cater to both audiences so long as there is such a heavy emphasis on gunplay. Also the game is basically unrecognizable on console vs. I hate how fast and gunplay-centric the game has become, given how antithetical it is to the original premise and basic meta of the game. Valk is still insanely strong with interior cams/intel (more dangerous to look for cams indoors anyways) and I'm sure will continue having a very high ban rate. I like the valk change - I don't know how prevalent outside cams are anyways in ranked play, mostly used for cheap runouts these days. Not surprising they rolled it back a bit. I thought angled got a huge buff not too long ago (maybe it was this year?), before that I thought the meta was people only ran vertical for basically everything. ![]()
